HOW TO MAKE A HEADDRESS – PART 1

by | Dec 7, 2011 | D.I.Y HEADDRESS, TUTORIALS | 1 comment

As part of my couture collection, I need to produce a series of Art Nouveau/ Art Deco-inspired headdresses to really accessorise the garments. I had a bash at it rather than employing a milliner and spending huge sums of money and the resulting headdress looks fabulous, so I figured I would create a tutorial for it. Hope you enjoy.

  1. Hi Ralph!
Just to say that your headresses are very beautiful and also that I proceeded the same way for my Black Queen crown for the photographer Sylvain Reneult (www.sylvainrenault.com). I made a millinery structure and covered it with fabric and ornaments.
    Long life to your blog!
