  • [...] Ralph Pink’s Tutorials and Basic Blocks: This guy rocks. Not only does he have amazing tutorials, he offers free tools to make life easier. There’s an Excel spreadsheet  you can use for drafting blocks/slopers — you input basic measurements and it spits out all the calculations you need. (I could see this being incredibly useful if you’re drafting some base patterns to start out with for designing multi-size patterns.) You’ll also find FREE(!) basic slopers  (size 8 US/10 UK) on his site. I printed these out to use as a reference while I was drafting my own blocks. Having these helped me tremendously because I could tell from their general shape if I’d made a wrong calculation or drawn a line wrong somewhere. [...]
