Learn how to add an external material to your corset and secure it to your Coutil pattern pieces. Also, a long and detailed account of adding piping to your pattern pieces, by stitching both external and Coutil layers together to form channels, then inserting 1-2mm waxed cording, to form an attractive, flexible & strong material. This tutorial is Part 7 in a whole series of tutorials on Corset construction.

    These tutorials are fantastic, thank you so much, they’ve been so useful! I was wondering if there’s a part 8? I’d really like to see how you put this all together including adding boning etc. Very well paced and explained!
