Wow… this is a long one.
About:
This tutorial will show you the concept behind Digital pattern cutting using illustrator. this is a must see if you wish to edit and produce your own digital patterns.
P.s. sorry it’s so long, but it’s all necessary..
*UPDATE*
A huge thank you to Patrick (see below) for suggesting a plugin for Ai that allows you to measure curves (handy for that dreaded armhole measurement) please see the link below. To say thank you please check out Patrick’s Site:

… Please check your work. I just wasted 16 hours trying to learn from this to find out the block shown in XLS sheet numbers are wrong…
Or is it a sick joke?
Hi Dcknives… Thank you for your comment. I’m sorry you had problems using Xl document, if you would explain the issue more clearly I will try and resolve it for you or make up for your time loss in some way.
All the best

This is amazing! Thank you so much, can’t wait to use it. Going to be so much easier now – I share your frustration with maths and have little space to pattern cut in, so this is vital. for both accuracy and to avoid crawling about on the floor with an enormous sheet of paper and a ruler. Brilliant, thanks for taking the time
P.S. Sorry about the all caps. my computer is displaying only all caps in the submit comment textbox.
